At the end of the evaluation process, we are proud to announce that Adriatica S.p.A. - Italmalt plant for malt produced with barley from the crop 2023 has obtained the important "Critical Review" statement from the certification body CCPB SRL which certifies that the LCA study relating to the production of Pilsen malt using barley from the 2023 harvest complies with the UNI EN ISO 14040 (2021) and UNI EN ISO 14044 (2021) standards (CCPB certificate no. LC/03/2024). Adriatica S.p.A. is therefore able to calculate the GWP (Global Warming Potential) of the malt produced at the Italmalt plant in Melfi.
